Callout 41
On 26-05-26 Cumbria Police requested assistance for a pair of friends who had become separated walking to the Greenside YHA from Thirlmere. The team were put on standby whilst the leader made investigations. Luckily both friends were back in phone signal and they were able to cordinate and meet up again.
As it was now dark, they agreed that Mountain Rescue would monitor their location remotely to ensure they got off the fell safely and the team were stood down.
