Callout 2021_067
On Monday 29 November 2021, the Team was called by Cumbria Police regarding two vehicles which had collided after trying to descend the Struggle into Ambleside. At that time the road was closed because of snow and the vehicles had slid into each other.
The Team leader contacted the affected party. There were no injuries and everyone involved was able to make their own way safely to the Kirkstone Pass Inn, where they organised recovery. The Team was stood down.
