Callout 2024_091
The Team was alerted by Cumbria Police to a report of 5 or 6 small children descending Little Mell Fell screaming and shouting as if in distress. On investigation it emerged that a local outdoor residential centre had taken two groups of excited primary school aged children on a night hike.
Once it was confirmed that both groups were safely off the fell the Team was stood down.
