Description
Every five years our rescue ropes are retired and replaced with a new set, so that our equipment stays safe and fit for purpose. After five years of helping to save lives on the fells, the old rope now has a new use.
Working with Elsa, our team support dog, we have designed PMRT dog leads from the retired rope. Every lead has been made by hand by Mark, one of our team members: hand stitched for strength, then seized to dress the lead. A labour of love.
The leads come in green rope with orange seizing or white rope with red seizing, as carabiner or slip leads.

Custom leads
Custom leads can be made to order while rope stocks last. Choose green or white rope, orange or red seizing, a slip or carabiner lead, and the length you need, which is useful for a long training lead. Custom leads cost £25 plus £7.50 for every metre or part metre over the standard 1.1 m. Email shop@patterdalemrt.org.uk with your request and we will confirm availability.
