Medical emergency
On 18/0426 at 1813 Patterdale Mountain Rescue were contacted with reports of a male on Gowbarrow experiencing a medical episode. He had tried to walk off himself but was so unwell that he wasn’t able to walk. The Team were deployed the short distance from the car park to assess the gentleman on what was a beautiful warm evening.
Following treatment by the Team’s medics the gentleman was stretchered off the hill to a waiting ambulance for ongoing assessment.
