Injured walker
The Team received a report of a man who had slipped and injured his knee while walking on Whiteside Bank path between Helvellyn and Raise. The man’s injury was assessed and his leg splinted, before he was packaged on the stretcher and wheeled and sledged down to a Team Land Rover.
After a further assessment at Base by a Team Doctor, the man was driven by other members of his party to the RLI for further treatment.
