Incidents

On Tuesday 6th August at 11:46hrs the Team were tasked by Cumbria Police to a male who had canoeing on Ullswater and had fallen in and was unable to get back into his boat.  The Team used their Rescue Rib and went to the aid of the Gentleman who had managed to get to safety on the Lake shore near to Silver Point.  He was fetched on board the Rib and taken back to calmer water near his camp site at Side Farm, due to the conditions and choppy water he had been unable to paddle himself back. Four Team members were involved in the incident for around an hour.
