Incidents

On Friday 9th February at  22.20hrs the Team were called by Cumbria Police to reports of Lights seen in the area of Heron Pike/Glenridding Dodd. The informant was contacted and stated that he had watched the lights over a couple of hours in the dark on the hillside. The Duty leader who lived locally drove to the area below where they were seen and monitored for a length of time. As no lights could now been seen it was decided that it was possibly persons camping as its a popular area for this, there would also be a good mobile signal from this area and the team were stood down with no further action being taken.  Two  team members were involved for a total of 30 minutes, the report was done with good intentions and informant thanked for his concern.
