On Monday 15th September at 14.00 Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team were called by Cumbria Police to assist a 68 yr old lady from Dartford, Kent who had slipped while walking with her family on Sheffield Pike, Glenridding and sustained an injury to her right knee.
11 members of the team attended the scene and after treatment she was stretchered to a waiting Rescue Team vehicle. The casualty was then conveyed to the Rescue Team base in Patterdale and transferred to a County Ambulance for onward transportation to Carlisle Infirmary.
