On Saturday 5th September at 17:20 hrs the Team were contacted by North West Ambulance to assist with a male who had fallen off a swing on the lake shore at Side Farm Campsite, Patterdale and had sustained a head injury. The Duty Leader attempted to contact the informant to get more information but was unable to speak to them, with this in mind a full Team call out was initiated. The first Landrover attended the scene and as there was a Paramedic already on scene dealing no further assistance was required and the Team were stood down.

8 Mountain Rescue volunteers were involved in the incident lasting just over 30 minutes.
