Cumbria Police alerted the Team to a male who collapsed while participating in an organised long distance fell race. The runner had been unconscious. With the risk of cardiac arrest, the assistance of a helicopter from HMCG or GNAAS was requested.

Accompanied by a Team Doctor, the casualty was flown to CIC for further treatment.
