Supporters’ “Meet the Team” day Sunday 11th September Postponed

Dear Supporter

We regret to announce that due to the death of Her Majesty the Queen yesterday, we have to postpone the “Meet the Team” Day for members of our Supporters’ Club, planned for this Sunday. Mountain Rescue is an organisation with royal patronage and it is important that we pay our respects to the royal family.

Our thoughts are particularly with our Patron, HRH The Duke of Cambridge (now The Duke of Cornwall and Cambridge) and his young family at this most difficult of times.

We know that some of you may be disappointed by this, but hopefully not too surprised as I believe that very many events are being cancelled or postponed at this sad time.

We will notify plans for a replacement date in due course.
