In the early hours of Sunday morning Patterdale MR were contacted requesting assistance with a vehicle that was stuck in snow on a steep section of Kirkstone pass. Following discussions with Cumbria Police it was agreed that the best action would be for the police to attend in a 4×4 with support from Mountain Rescue if required.
