Injured walker
The Team was tasked by NWAS to assist a female who had slipped near Mires Beck while descending from Helvellyn. The casualty was given strong pain relief, her ankle splinted, then placed on a stretcher and carried down to a Team Land Rover and transported to her vehicle in Glenridding.
Her friend conveyed her to hospital for further treatment.
