On Wednesday 28/05/2025 at around 1445hrs the team were called out regards a walker with an ankle injury on Sheffield Pike. The casualty had been descending with his partner into Glencoyne down the side of Sheffield Pike, when he slipped and injured his ankle. The team accessed the site via Seldom Seen and located the casualty quickly. The injury was stabilised with a leg splint and the casualty was evacuated by stretcher down to a team landrover. The couple then took themselves to the nearest hospital for further treatment. The rescue took 3 hrs and involved 11 team members.
