Croglin Lady Stretchered from The Knott

The Knott
On Sunday 28th September Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team were called by Cumbria Police to assist a woman from Croglin who had slipped on the fell above Hayeswater close to the Knott.

The woman had damaged her ankle and was unable to walk. After treatment at the scene the woman was stretchered down to Hayeswater to meet a Landrover ambulance and transported to the Rescue Centre. Her husband then took her to The Cumberland Infirmary for further treatment.

Penrith MRT also assisted in the rescue.
