Angle Tarn
On Friday 11th July 2008 at 19.27 Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team were called by Cumbria Police to search for a 72 yr old male from Flintshire who had failed to return to his car from a walk in the Angle Tarn area of Patterdale. The person was overdue by approximately 2 hours. A total of 12 Patterdale Mountain rescue and 7 Penrith Mountain Rescue Team members were starting their search patterns when the missing person was located uninjured returning to his car.
