The Team were altered after a 60 year old man from the Worcestershire slipped and fell while walking between Howtown and Patterdale. The rescue boat was launched in order to reach the site of the incident. He had suffered cuts and bruises to his legs and back but had been able to walk down to the Lake shore.

Duck Race 2014 and a first outing for new trailer

The annual Patterdale Mountain Rescue Team Duck Race (Monday 21 April) saw almost 3000 bright yellow ducks racing down Glenridding Beck and it was also the first chance for local people and visitors alike to see the Team’s new trailer.
